About Heywood “Woody” Turner, III, RICP®

Bio: Woody has been in the financial services industry for twenty-nine (29) years.  Five years as an A.V.P. for a local bank in Tampa, FL and twenty-two years as a financial services advisor.  He understands the importance of listening to what his clients want and need.  Trust is of utmost importance when it comes to his relationship with his clients.  His core values are centered on integrity, commitment and compassion.         


Education: He holds an Associates Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Science and majored in Psychology at the University of Florida.  He also attended the American Institute of Banking (AIB) where he received his banking certification and The American College where he has obtained his RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designation.


Licenses/Registrations: Woody is an Investment Advisor Representative with Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor.   He holds a FINRA Series 6 investment license and is also a licensed insurance agent. 


Affiliations: He is a qualifying and life member of *Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) where he is a two time recipient of the **National Quality Award.


Focal points of your practice: Turner and Associates focuses on both wealth accumulation (pre-retirement) and wealth distribution (post-retirement) planning while protecting against the risks that may arise during this journey. 


Point of differentiation of your practice: Woody’s practice is professional yet client friendly and he demands that his client’s needs are always handled in a prompt and professional manner.   


Hobbies: Woody is an avid baseball fan and enjoys spending time at the ballpark watching his son Chase, who plays for Saint Leo University.  As well, he enjoys snow skiing, fishing, family gatherings and personal fitness.
